These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the DogDash mobile application and related services operated by Triff Limited ("DogDash", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using DogDash you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

For these Terms:
• "Account" means your registered DogDash account.
• "Active Walk" means a walk currently being recorded.
• "App" means the DogDash mobile application.
• "Content" means photographs, comments, profile information and other material uploaded by users.
• "Dog Profile" means information relating to a dog recorded within DogDash.
• "Pack Points" means experience or progression points awarded within DogDash.
• "Patch" means an individual area of territory within the game.
• "Services" means the DogDash application and related features.
• "Territory" means areas claimed or defended through gameplay.
• "User" means any person accessing DogDash.
• "Walk Data" means route, location, timestamps, statistics and related activity generated during walks.

2. Eligibility

DogDash is intended for users aged 13 years or older. By using DogDash you confirm you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity conducted through your account. Information provided must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.

4. Description of the Service

DogDash is a location-based dog walking application combining fitness, mapping and social gameplay. Features such as territory, leaderboards, achievements and statistics are intended for entertainment and may change as the service evolves.

5. Location Services

Certain features depend upon location permissions. Background location is intended to operate only during an Active Walk. Revoking permissions may prevent parts of the Service from functioning.

6. Fair Play

You must not use GPS spoofing, automation, bots, modified software or any technique intended to gain an unfair advantage. DogDash may investigate suspicious activity and remove gameplay progress or suspend accounts where appropriate.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading content you grant Triff Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process and display it solely for operating, improving and promoting DogDash. You must own or have permission to share any content uploaded.

8. Community Standards

Users must behave respectfully. Harassment, unlawful content, hate speech, impersonation, spam, infringement of intellectual property rights or behaviour that harms the community may result in moderation or account suspension.

9. Safety

Always remain aware of your surroundings. Do not use DogDash while driving or in situations where using your phone could create danger. You remain responsible for complying with laws, land access restrictions and keeping your dog under appropriate control.

10. Beta & Availability

DogDash may be released as an Early Access or Beta service. Features may change, be unavailable or contain defects. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that gameplay data will always be preserved.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in DogDash, including branding, software, graphics and gameplay systems, belong to or are licensed to Triff Limited unless otherwise stated.

12. Third-Party Services

DogDash may integrate with third-party services such as OpenStreetMap. Additional providers may be introduced over time. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.

13. Future Paid Services

Optional subscriptions or premium services may be introduced. Separate commercial terms will apply before any purchase is made.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogDash is provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, compromise security or misuse the Service. Users may stop using DogDash and delete their account at any time.

16. Privacy

Your use of DogDash is also governed by the DogDash Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected and processed.

17. Changes

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and applicable laws of the United Kingdom. Courts of Scotland shall have jurisdiction except where mandatory consumer laws provide otherwise.

Schedule A – Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:
• misuse the Service;
• upload unlawful or infringing content;
• interfere with servers or security;
• reverse engineer the application except where permitted by law;
• use DogDash for commercial exploitation without permission;
• create multiple accounts to manipulate gameplay;
• exploit bugs or vulnerabilities.
